A homeowner called us to see if we could help him. He had installed a “do it yourself” epoxy garage floor coating a year or so prior to calling us and the coating had begun to fail To make matters even worse, the slab in his 2 car garage (which was nearly 30 years old) had nearly 100 linear feet of cracks in it. He was in the process of remodeling his home and putting new cabinets in his garage and wanted his garage to have a “finished” look to it. We were able to remove his old, “do it yourself” epoxy floor (for no additional charge). We then repaired his concrete slab cracks using our proprietary fast curing and extremely tough crack filler. Despite the fact that some of his cracks were nearly ½” wide, we were able to repair all of the cracks which gave us a smooth and homogenous surface on which to install
Polished concrete is fast becoming the ultimate no-wax flooring material. Thanks to recent advances in polishing equipment and techniques, we are now grinding concrete floor surfaces, whether new or old, to a high-gloss finish that never needs waxes or coatings. Factor in the superior durability and performance of concrete, and it's no wonder why more retail, warehouse, and office facilities are opting for polished concrete flooring as an alternative to marble, granite, tile, linoleum, or coated concrete. Even homeowners are catching on to the appeal of these smooth, high-luster floors, which can be stained to replicate the look of polished stone
A good protective coating gives concrete that extra layer of protection it needs to endure constant wear and tear. In addition to its protective function, a coating can also dress up a drab surface, simplifying maintenance and improve skid resistance
Color flakes, also known as decorative vinyl color chips, flakes are specially formulated paint aggregates used to enhance the aesthetic qualities of seamless, resin-based chip/flake flooring systems. This unique product is random in shape, sized within a standardized range and custom blended to match any décor. The broadcast layer consists of a self-leveling, medium to heavy duty, solid colored Epoxy then broadcast to rejection with Vinyl flake aggregate while the coating are still wet repeating the step is common to achieve consistency. The top coats are non-pigmented selected top coat usually epoxy or urethane. The system provides easy to clean, smooth surface, a durable finish with superior chemical resistance. Surface texture can be customized to meet slip resistance requirements.
Matallic coating is hottest trend in decorative concrete floors . One of the newest metallic epoxy systems is Metal Fusion this allows us to heighten the effects and make floors look three-dimensional. A two-component 100%-solids epoxy blended with metallic pigments, Metal Fusion is self-leveling, permitting seamless floor surfaces. “The application method is what really makes Metal Fusion take life. Denatured alcohol and other solvents can be used to disperse and drag the metal pigments throughout the epoxy. You can also use air to create a more dynamic metallic effect. Ten to fifteen minutes after spreading Metal Fusion with a notched squeegee, a leaf blower can be used to ripple, crater, and impel the metallic pigment. You can also get extra creative by drizzling, splotching, or blending one or more colors over the top of the Metal
